I had this idea to build this thing on top of Dropbox so I didn’t have to e-mail clients files to clients or use Yousendit / Drop.io (RIP) for larger ones. Six months, lots of coffee and long nights later, I can finally use it, and you can too!
tylr:
For the past several months I’ve been working late nights and weekends with Gordon to create Views.fm. Last night we officially launched 1.0.
Views.fm is currently built on top of the Dropbox API. You connect your Dropbox account, and you can share any file or folder, privately or publicly with anyone. We also make it incredibly easy to maintain who can see your shares and what is being shared.
To see why sharing through Views is way better than using Dropbox or any other file sharing service, check out a few of my public shares…
